Real Business School

So Business School in Philadelphia is in full swing. I am typically in class anywhere from 3.5 to 7 hours a day. However, my days are actually much longer than that. Here is an example of a day...

6am: Wake up and go to the gym
8:30: Meet contact for breakfast. (Theoretically, this wold be great for networking.)
9:30: Do homework/reading
11:00: Temple sponsored networking event
1pm: Class
4:30: More homework
7:00: meet another contact for a drink and/or dinner.
9:30pm: Arrive home and do more homework
Midnight: Bedtime and loop back the beginning.

I gotta say, I like this type of schedule. Being in 5 different locations throughout the day is what I need. I hope to find a job where this can happen. If anyone knows of anything, don't be shy and speak up.

Here are some pics to keep the zen...

Winter Break is Over

My 1st winter break in 5 years is officially over.

Before I get into the school stuff I must say a word about a wonderful coffee shop on 20th and Fitzwater. For a great atmosphere and fun company, go to Beauty Shop Cafe.
Here is a lovely picture of my brother and sister-in-law's dog, Jake.
Now back to school (Fox - USA). I was able to play tourist on a trolley ride around the city.
Our fearless leader... (not really)
I think this is almost artwork.stop #1, Pat's king of Steaks. They were very good to us. I think some one ordered in non-English... and that was ok. My half of "wiz wit"Frenchman Pascal's 1st cheesesteak. Here's my whole IMBA 2008 class. No longer are we Mumbai or Paris, but 1.
Next stop, art museum. You can see Jaime (the real fearless leader) racing Jonathan (in red). Guess who won... that's right, the marathon runner. Who knew Philly was so picturesque? Move ahead a few days, to today. We had a dining etiquette class. Pretty interesting and I may have even picked up a thing or two about eating food and clothing style. We were recommended to purchase a $600 pair of shoes. I will be sure to do that once I have an income. I realize I have 3 pictures of Pascal up on this post, but what can I say, this wine connoisseur deserves more press.

So orientation ends Friday and classes start Tuesday. It's go time.
