Tonight is my last night in Philly for about 6 weeks. Tomorrow I depart for China. I will be visiting Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai. On July 5th I leave for Tokyo, Japan. I will be back in the US on the eve of August 2nd.
This past semester has certainly been one of the most challenging. I spent most days at school from 8:30 am until 10pm. Alas, it was a good experience and I am glad to be leaving for Asia.
Leaving at night was not so bad because I got to see this. Philadelphia City hall.

Below is the man of the hour being honored... it's the guy on the left. George received an award from JHP for his outstanding contributions.

So last month I was at a wedding in Virginia. It was southern-tastic. The motel I stayed at was, to say the least, sub-par. To put it another way, my mother would not be proud, and if she had stepped foot inside, probably would have made my father take her elsewhere.

Classy Motel outdoor seating activity.

At the wedding...
Oysters... Chris doesn't mind

Down the hatch.

Nothing to see here, just some olde time guns.

Look at the newlyweds. This was one classy weekend.

See you all on the other side of the world.
By the way, China is 12 hours ahead of EST and Japan is 13. So if it is 7am in Philadelphia, it is 7pm in China and 8pm in Japan.
