Since April I have seen the niece a couple of times, been to a couple of weddings and enjoyed New Orleans for a day.
Below are 2 pictures from the wedding at Vally Green Inn.
Aren't they cute.
The morning after this wedding I left for a wedding in New Orleans. I only got 3 hours of sleep and for some reason could not sleep on the plane. However, when I arrived, it was a party for 24 hours straight.
I made a little purchase (an orange hat), and it was awesome.
Although, it looks much better on the wife-to-be.
Here's the happy wedding couple the morning after.
Just so we are clear, Bourbon Street is like one big bar. I am convinced they are all interconnected with just different names on the front.
I ate a beignet for the first time and it was delightful. There was powdered sugar all over it... it was delicious.
When you are in NO, go to the restaurant "Mothers", it has the best everything. Debris really makes the meal. If you need to know what "debris" is, I guess you'll need to go there and try it for yourself.
All in all, I had a great time in NO and wish I could spend at least one more day there.
